The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as important members in House Halovar could assist the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can expect discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on October 24.
